Congratulations to all the artists who entered their work. As artists we know how courageous you all are! We encourage you to keep creating and submitting to shows, whether your piece is up this time or not. It was hard for us to keep only 20 artworks for this exhibition, but that’s all the size of the gallery would allow. We chose a selection to represent each of the three categories.

Once again, this year, the caliber of the works that come out of the Rainbow Studio Gallery is exceptional, and showcases the extremely talented students and their teachers here and in our region. When making our selection, we were looking for a few things: Is there consistency in the technique, in how the paint is handled? How about the use of colour? Is the composition working? Also important is the originality and the interpretation of the theme. Does it hold the viewer’s attention? As you can see there were many yeses to these questions and these pieces are worthy of our attention! Congratulations again to all!
